I just noticed this last night and am wondering if anyone else has experinced this issue. I recently bought a 500MM f/4 IS II lens. It's performing just great, but I noticed in the EXIF data from my 5d3 the pictures are registered to have been taken by my old 24-105 (which I no longer have). I checked some older files from about a month ago when I first got the lens- they are correct and indicate to have been taken by the 500MM.

Anyone ever experince something similar?
