i'm sure everyone tries some moon shots at one point or another, but here are my first tries. this is zoomed all the way in with my 75-30mm canon lense on my canon digital rebel. i dont think its totally focused, but its the best i could do since it was pretty windy outside.

A bright full moon in the dark sky is a real challenge--and you met the challenge quite well! Nicely done. I have yet to get one that clear. Thanks for posting it. Maybe next month it will be warmer and less windy here so I can experiment more.

Ok, I had try it with my A95 point and shoot aimed through my 7X50 binoculars. Not the best arrangement with binoculars laying on top of my car and handholding the camera against eyepiece. I still have a lot to learn but thanks for the inspiration!! Hope to see more of your work.
