They are so much fun to watch! Well done. I set up one of my feeders near flowers for great photo opportunities, but the male that uses it, won't perch! I provided several perches.

Love the pose in the first 2 captures, and the story is a familiar one.....Get Out of My Territory!
I'm in the same boat as Sandy i.e. I can't get mine to perch for photos, but I'm pretty sure it was him that buzzed me in my front yard yesterday. A careful search for a nest is a must after that :)

Great shots & story Jeff... I think these guys have a case of 'little 'big' guy syndrome.. It surprises me that the male even chases the female at my place..

My flowers came from one of the local Green-houses! I bought Hummingbird friendly varieties!
