hidden prize

This kingfisher flew in front of me and then disappeared behind a tree. Fortunately
he landed on the only branch that gave me a clear but very small viewing tunnel through to the opposite side.

Very nice! I like the background. These are one of my favorite birds, but I've never been successful at getting a good photograph even with a big lens. They're so skittish.

Everything in the picture, with the exception of the bird, is extreme foreground. He was well hidden.

Very interesting perspective, I really like these. The crop is especially nice, great work.

Well at least he sat out in the open so you could capture him. Well done.
