GPS is worldwide, right? My wife is going to China for the month of July and will be using her s100. I imagine if she uses this function it will lower the battery life, anyone have experience with this?

CapnJack Cream of the Crop More info | Jun 08, 2014 16:24 | #2 GPS is worldwide. GPS will use more battery. Depending on the proximity of large buildings, or if she is inside, she may not get a satellite lock and those images may not be tagged, but she can probably "interpolate" her location.

This is perfectly normal when a large change of position has occured since last acquiring satellities, in your case I assume going from Florida to China.

Yes from Florida, I probably won't turn that on for her, if there are any issues I won't be there to help
