Great flight work Trevor. Around here they're tough to get close to and we only see them in the summer.

Yes, well, I got a little bit too close and they were dive bombing me! I was shooting away, and when I looked up all I could see was a bird coming straight for my head, and I said holy &#^%

Needless to say I backed off a bit. There are nests In the reeds. Pic #1 is a nest directly below that tern.

They also mainly hunt for dragonflies and damselflies, which emerge on the shore. Which makes for great opportunities, because they hover before they snag an insect.

You've really decided to challenge yourself haven't you Trevor! :)
That 1st image is simply off the charts awesome with wonderful clarity, beautiful bird, and ideal background. The others ain't too shabby either! Excellent job.
