Penodr - nice take on the ants view of the edge of a coin, perhaps a dime?

You are correct it is a coin, a quarter to be exact. I was taking a photo of a bottle cap and did not like how the photo was coming out when I saw the quarter.

A daring ant, let's call her Scout, sees this as she approaches the fabled French Fry Forest. The undergrowth is breadcrumbs. Scout has found enough food to get her colony through the winter!

Nice photo of the ants promised land. Great idea.

Richard and Grizz, my settings for the shot were: Tv 1/160; Av f6.3; ISO 400. I just looked at the LCD display until scene looked to be in focus. The camera was less than a foot away from the mushrooms.

Sometimes I get lucky.

Nice coin edge Dave.

Well, after crawling around in the grass and coming up with mediocre images...
I find that I must be allergic to grass! I'm covered in rash!

I like it, Joayne. Grass used to give me a rash, now it just makes me itchy.
I hope it's not too bad.

Wow! Some most excellent submissions here this week. Finally got my wife home from the hospital. Slipped out this afternoon to take a quick pic. My photo is an ants view from my backyard looking across my pasture.:)

^^ ^^Nice work Joyane and Terry.

This morning at our cottage was foggy and there was water everywhere. My morning spent as an ant was pretty scary...some of those dew-drops could drown a fellow!
