I don't normally take photos of people. I don't consider myself very good at it. My very beautiful, and extremely shy wife Denise, allowed me to photograph her over the weekend. I only took a few and this one was my favorite of the bunch. I thought I would share. CC welcome.

Beautiful indeed ... Really nice, though it seems that her eyes aren't quite in focus. Still, she and the overall shot are gorgeous.

I agree about the eyes. I am really struggling with this in low light situations. I did not have room for a tripod where I took this shot from. I wanted to keep the natural light, and keep my ISO around 200 to reduce grain. I wound up with a 1/4 shutter speed to get the shot. I really need to get a decent 30mm prime lens for shots like this. On this one though, chalk up the out of focus eyes to slow shutter speed and shaky hands. Thanks for the comment about my wife. That's a moral booster for her. She is coming around a little bit at a time and becoming less shy in front of the camera. I love her to pieces and so enjoy taking her picture.
