Has anyone calibrated there Sekonic 478D using the
Color Checker Passport?

I noticed the custom calibration is 1/3 of a stop less or (3/10ths)
of a stop less than the Sekonic 478D Camera Default setting on my
Canon 5D MK III.

I was wondering if anyone has similar results?

Adding the reflected meter reading using the 5 degree spot meter
doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

The reason you may be seeing a difference is that the custom calibration takes into consideration the light transmission of the lens you tested with. Test with another lens and you may get a different result.

I tried it with two different lenses.

I used the advanced mode with two different
ISO values.

It seems once calibrated with the Color Checker
the Canon 5D MK III is 3/10th of a stop different
than the default camera calibration.

Seems to work fine, I just thought it might be
closer to the default setting.
