The skin is read on 3. It also seems a little too dark to me.
#5 is lovely though!

I do like warmer tones and it was at sunset time. Perhaps I overdid it a bit, though. I appreciate the input.

other than the tones, the ring is a bit off on the first photo. Something to look at next time. Overall I'm sure they'll be very happy with these.

Thanks for the feedback, folks.
I tweaked the tone just a bit. Is this an improvement in your eyes?

i think the main issue with the tones are caused by her being a bit under exposed. Since you have photo editing on I hope you don't mind I took a crack at it. I'm sure with the original you could do much better. I adjusted the wb using the dress and brightened her up a bit

Cool. Thanks. It's always good to see someone else's take on things.

Overall, I am hoping that these shots don't look too much like a "rookie" shot them. Although, I am most willing to improve!

The shots look great. I dig the composition and look of number 1. Maybe a slight bend in her hand/fingers next time? Great work though.

Please don't take any offense to this... as its not meant to be criticism, but just a thought... Is your monitor calibrated? A few of your latest posts have had several under exposed images in them... and it may be that your monitor is too bright? Your skin tones look to be fine (maybe a tad warm, but I like it warm), but the darkness is causing the red/orange channels to be too saturated.

Thank you, Trent. I very much appreciate your feedback!

My monitor is calibrated. I think it may be good to run calibration again. I will admit that I need to watch the histogram closer, too. The under exposure has been a theme lately so I'll have to watch and see what the problem is. Now that I am thinking about it, I might have bumped up the brightness when surfing and forgotten to put it back down. Hmmm...

And please don't hesitate to give constructive feedback! I can take it and really want to improve. I noticed the straight fingers, too. I am my own worst enemy when I am shooting; I get so nervous that I lose my brain. Thankfully, these folks were pleased and gave me an awesome review. :)

I have another version of #1, but I don't like it as well. I wish I had gotten them with their noses closer together (and again with the fingers bent).

I like the first version better too... and the hand really isn't that big of a deal. Its always good when you are focused on posing and how your subjects look instead of worrying about camera settings & lighting.

Also, something to think about... is the ambient light in your editing room.

For me usually after I edit save them to my phone and review a couple time, Anything that I don't feel comfortable with, come back and edit it again, I am no rush with the time. :)
