All of these are great photographs! i really like how you were able to capture the impact on the volleyball in #3 and the way the sand is coming of the top of the ball. It enhances the image greatly.

nice shots! fun to see the sand falling off the athletes. I'll have to go and shoot some of the sand ball near me sometime soon

I did shoot a few at 1/8000 to be able to shoot with a more shallow depth of field but #3 is

1/4000
f4
iso 160

all were shot with 135mm f2

#1 is 1/8000
f2.8
iso 200
