I'm struggling with a p/s upgrade from my S95. Mainly vacation and party shooting and perhaps FB upload. Portability is the issue. I shoot mostly RAW and when I process my S95 images in LR4, I'm so disappointed with the quality compared to my 5D3s and my stable of L lenses. I've poured over DP Review, comments and images here and need some insight. I'm not a pixel peeper and have reasonable expectations, but quality is important and what's been posted here is very high. I've played with the G1XII at my local pro shop and was surprised at how heavy it is, but compared with a gripped 5D3 obviously very light. I like the EVF concept on the new RX100 III but haven't handled it. I'm obviously on a LCD with my current S95 anyway.
1. Is the S120 that much better than the S95 that I would notice in PP?
2. What accessories besides Speedlights from my "big stuff" can I use with the G1XII?
3. I'm really concerned with the limited reach of the RX100 III 24-70 equiv
4. Are you new GX1 II owners happy that it's "worth the money"?
5. Any S120 owners move to the G1XII and love it?

Thanks for the consult!

Love the g1x mk11. I haven't really picked up my 5d mk11 and L lenses since.I will take the g1x MK11 on holiday next week ,thats it.
It's not perfect but nothing is but it takes a good photo. The weight i find ok after a DSLR ,but then i don't like small ,light point and shoots,it feels well built.
Cant compare to any of the others as i've never used them.Best advice take some RAW files on the shop one and play with the photos at home.
