Thanks for the suggestion guys.
Wife is always right. Keeping the 500D for a month now. Let her get a feel of the bulk and weight. Can always sell it off later.

And I am getting that EPL3 + Panasonic 14mm for myself. Don't want to invest much in a new system. Shall use it for a month or so and decide whether I want to keep it.
