Just as the tile says.. I’m here for a length of time again, and just curious if anyone else is out here.

You're saying you are in Afghanistan, and are looking for others there to meet up?

IMHO, if you aren't military...you're crazy.

I guess I didn’t make it totally clear, but yes I’m sitting here on KAF for some time, and was wondering if anyone else is here as well. I’ve got my camera gear with me and besides hangin out with the cigar club, was lookin for more photogs..

Wow. That sounds both thrilling and terrifying. Are you there on an assignment for a job? Or did you just wake up one day thinking it would be a great place to get some pics that few others are capable of producing?

He's in the military. We've had a mission/presence in Afghanistan for awhile now.

i have posted some here and there, the main problem is i cant see anytying i post. all red Xs, and or 90% of everything is blocked..IE flicker or the like.

i cant upload anything from a gov computer, so anything has to be done in my room, which has dial up speeds.. so a simple picture is a 2 hour upload.

ugh.

For a 200KB image? I don't remember dial-up being that bad?
Well, keep in touch & hang in there!
