Think that's a Tiger cranefly KC. They're so much nicer than the regular ones.

Lovely series of shots.
Dolichopid flies can be flash sensitive so the TTL pre-flash can make them take off and you end up with a picture of the bottom of their feet. Using manual flash in this situation will take the picture before they can react.
