Fotolibra have advised me that a picture of mine has been bought by a well known magazine here in the UK to accompany an article. All very good news you might think - certainly that's what I thought when I was sent the news.
Sadly, the cash has failed arrived. In fotlibra's small print is a clause that means they intend to keep the money until it exceeds an arbitrary sum of their choosing, cleverly above the sum they sold the image for. So unless I sell another it will never arrive.
So be warned those of you who contribute images to Fotolibra. Once bitten I shall be more than twice shy, this is likely to be the end of my own fotolibra contributing.
