Wow, those really do look alien! Great shot, Richard, and fits the theme very well.

I love the pictures, Levina and Ricardo.

This chair is out of place, but trying to blend in.

It's doing a good job of blending. Nice image!

I have a hunch that the B&W helps it blend.

Aliens on the beach? Certainly out of place! I'm note sure where they came from...it's sure got me stumped!

Quite appropriate for the theme Ricardo, and well done I might add. Just really to bad it has to be sitting on a very nice looking beech.

Thanks Terry...there were a whole bunch of them....a testament to fore-shore erosion. Those sand dunes have been on the move for centuries and the settlers tried to stop the movement with trees, but in the end the sea wins!

Saw/found this concrete rebared beam laying on the beach on Shackleford Island, NC. Only things on the island besides vegetation and wild horse are toursits. ????

Stina, that is a great picture. Well worth the wait! Fits the theme and also says: nature gives, nature takes back...

OldCrow, that fits the theme well. What an odd thing to find on a beach.

Joayne, that is totally weird and very much out of place. You must have x-ray eyes to have spotted that!

Levina..I wondered why my cell phone was showing more bars ;)

Weird one, Crow
doubtful that it washed up!

Stina, good find and nice PS treatment

Ricardo.. that is really strange. Looks like the Kraken has washed ashore!
Really can't stop looking at those roots!

Levina, that is very strange. All that greenery looks like it is sitting on the water
..and I love the mannequin!

Fun week, this one!
Except that it took me until this morning to figure out what to post!

^^ It is a Cell Phone tower OldCrow..
There are a couple of little doors in it for repairs and such I believe...
There is a large controller box right next to where I stood for the photo

We have some in the northeast made to look like tall pine trees. We call them frankenpines.
