Ok, March 29th is approaching fast, so I have had a look at the very generous selection of gear being offered, and have narrowed down my selection, which given the variety was very hard to do.

Ill send out some PM's, and hopefully I can start collecting what I need this weekend, so I have a week to get used to it. I understand totaly of course if people don't want to part with thier gear untill the saturday before hand. It not fun to be with out your favourite bit of kit when you need it.

Im not sure what to do with the money my company has allocated however, it has been suggested by a few people that we pool the money together and use it to get a Monitor calibration kit?
Otherwise Im quite happy to devide up amonst the people I borrow kit from.

200 smackers wont buy us much of a calibration kit, unfortunatly. Also, in your inital post you mentioned Sun the 26th, now the 29th? Im good either way - although 25th is my birthday.

Well to those Im borrowing gear from who are interested in the money (and I know what its like to need it, so don't be ashamed) just say so in a PM, Ill keep it quite.
Then whats left, if not everyone wants a share, we can look at putting towards something?

Im not borrowing kit from everybody, so if everyone put something in, say $20 Im sure we could get there.
But, we have to deciede who looks after it first, I had a chat with Pete about this the other day.

We should all put in. Lets face it the only person that should not put in is the person who has never got anything out of our group.

I don't think they would like me impersonating the apex of the corner :)

I don't think drift drivers know what an APEX is :p

I would be very surprised if there is someone who hasn't gotten something out of the GKPE meets.

Moppie, perhaps we should buy you a calender with the money. Do you have the golf game on the 26th, or the Health and safety meeting on the 26th? :P

LOL! for the record, the 26th March is a Sunday (according to the calender I have)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

I found a 20D today, went round to a random house in sandringham, walked in the door and someone just gave me 20D with a 24-70 L on it :D

Iv spent all night playing with it, works very well, learning a lot about how it works to.
Ill see what else I can find over the rest of the week :)
