The resident Bluebirds have built their third nest this season and are ready to lay eggs if they haven't already. I still see the two fledglings from the first nest coming around when the female allows them to and I'm not sure how many fledged from the second nest....they should start coming to the feeder in a day or two and right now they're hiding in trees.

The male is very busy feeding the second set of fledglings, feeding the female and protecting their current nestbox.

Fantastic set as always! I am loving my bluebird residents too. They are so wonderful to have around and I really enjoy seeing them. They sure can consume those mealworms and they keep begging for more! LOL

Fantastic series!!! The 5th pic (fledgling) is my favorite bluebird pic ever!
My bluebird parents and their 2 fledglings have moved on, but they sure were fascinating & fun to watch for a few weeks :-)

Thank you everyone. Unfortunately the third nest failed with three eggs in it...the adult Bluebirds just gave up on it and built another nest in a near-by nestbox but no eggs have been laid in that one.
