Finally i did it, bought the lens, and because i went far i decided to buy 1.4x also and not go there again later in the future for just 1.4x III, so i am back with both.

Now i want to know what filter holder i should think about for this lens, whether i can have full movement or most/half of it if possible.

I feel upset as i bought it at low price, and by accident i checked out another store just for curiosity and they can give me the lens cheaper than the store i bought from, but i am happy at the end, the very slight difference is not a big deal, can't wait to use the lens and have fun as i had with TS-E24II.

With a Cokin no more worries, filters will go on all your lenses, and it cost less than 10 dollars to have all ranges of adapters rings on ebay (around 8-10 different diameters adapter rings)
Meaning when you buy a new filter > no worries it will be usable all your SLR lenses

I have LEE filters and holder that accommodate 4x4 up to 4x6 or say 4" wide, but this lens 17TS need different filter holder, and i know few but i don't know which is the best one, i don't want to buy one and find out later it wasn't the right or best one, if all are the same then i will go with any, so i depend on members experiences here over than what i have been searching/reading myself.

"This new ring will adapt the Foundation kit filter holder to fit the Canon 17mm TS-E lens and will allow more than half of the total amount of movement that is normally possible with this lens before vignetting"

So, is this the only option i can go with? I heard about WonderPana one, not sure which is better, also heard about another option but i forgot which one.

I got mine a while ago and adapted a Cokin X-pro with universal adapter onto a spare modified lens cap. It works for most shift - I think up to 8mm and the really nice thing is that since it is attached to a lens cap putting it on and getting it off is really easy.

But there seems to me many more options out there now and the X-pro is definitely not the cheapest.

I use my TS-E 17mm for Product Photography, the product that I photograph ( pool cues ) have allot of Polarized reflection. So I use a CPL on my TS-E 17.

The only dislike is the size 145mm, my lens is very close to the subject and the filter and will cast a shadow from my lighting if I am not careful .
And it doesn't come in John Deere green

I picked Fotodiox over Lee because Fotodiox wasn't on back order and they answered there phone.
Lee was going to be my first choice, at the time I bought my lens Lee just released the adaptor on the market but gave me the run a round and couldn't give me a date of when they would get the adaptors in and couldn't give a shipping date.
I had to look it up and tell Lee what they're own part number was on the adaptor
because the guy in charge couldn't find it himself...............

I like the way the fotodiox adaptor fits and I like the storage bags that came with the adaptor and CPL.
I get a nice clear image and the filter does a great job on Polarized reflection.
Fotodiox is American based company and they have a great product and fast shipping.

Thank you very much!

I will keep looking at LEE and Fotodiox and will decide soon which one to get.

I bought a filter holder for this lens:

Tianya 145mm (T150) filter holder system

I should go with Wonderpana instead, i think it was cheaper for Wonderpana for 145mm/150mm version, but i don't know why i chose this one instead, anyway, it looks like very nice and it may do the job, just i am waiting the filters to give it a try with TS17mm
