Australian model Taya Brooks joined us for this outdoor editorial for Stello Couture and Clutch Crown Accessories!!! Canon 1Dx + 100L IS Macro... ISO 200, f/5.6 @ 1/320sec... Profoto B10 + Profoto 24" Deep Octa + Air Remote TTL (trigger)... Strobe was above, left of Taya...

First time out with the dual AD200 setup. I like how you can really dial down the power to just give a kiss of light to the subject.

Until relatively recently studio strobes were rather basic devices. Manual only, capable of limited ratios of power, no HSS. Things have developed rapidly in last couple of years.

I still shoot everything with strobes manually, even though my AD200s and AD600 have TTL. Habit I guess, and I don't want the camera to make decisions for me. :D

everything I have don't with them, I still shoot manually too, I just like working the light the way I want to create light and dark.
