Yes used a speedlight on the camera in 2nd curtain sync to trigger my strobe... and has some ambient light to illuminate the motion

Very nice Simon.

Here is a shot from yesterday. 24 cheetahbox camera left 1/2 power. I think it turned out pretty well. I wonder if I did camera right if the results would have been different.

Behind the scenes shenanigans with model Walter and photographer Jon for Zara Suits/Clothing line... Having fun with the fisheye during the shoot... Hehehe... 1DX + 8-15L + Profoto B1 Strobe + Profoto Air Remote TTL trigger + Profoto 24" Deep Octabox... ISO 3200, f/4 @ /1400sec... Octa was center line, about 40 feet behind me, as I lay on my butt/back to get this low-laying perspective...

;-)a :p:-P

Were the kids cooprative? I always want to bring off camera flash to family sessions but I feel like with young kids its chaotic enough. The kids dont know where to look and get antsy too quickly for recycle times and the time it takes to set up. Good on you for taking the time I always set them up in shade ie "easy mode"

Hell no, my kids are anything but cooperative. I hate shooting them sometimes because they don't listen and all I do is yell at them. Ahh well. lol Luckily enough my sis and bro in law where there. She took the shot, while he held my softbox on a boomstick about 3 feet from them.

Here's another one of my princess. She loves posing for the camera and I always get good shots from her. Although I kinda wish I woulda centered the softbox now, so it didnt create that shadow side on her.
