Nothing wrong with simple reminders. A day can be ruined by mistake. A life can be ruined.

I am a US Marine and also a certified range safety officer and firearms instructor. I know of what I speak. I teach folks to have proper attitude and skills for handling firearms. It's fun all day long as long as the rules are followed. It starts with safe handling.

I am concerned over folks complaining about safety reminders.

What if that was your daughter modeling and she got hurt -- and you had no idea that she was around firearms she did not know how to handle. I'll bet you'll go after the photographer with 50 lawyers.

Please be safe out there.
