Just wondering how many of you keep the lens adapter on the lens as a safety. Does it block the on camera flash? I want to use the LA-DC58D lens adapter and keep it on the body of the G6.

I've saved (through trial and error) a setting in one of the custom settings (C1 or C2) a zoom which is the widest without seeing a darkening in the corner. But as my G5 doesn't quantify zoom settings I can't tell you what that is.. (boo)
