I'm currently using CS6 13.0.6 would I gain much by moving to Adobe Photoshop CC 15.0 (2014)?

At the moment there probably aren't very many members here with the experience needed to answer that question.

Would you gain? Sure. There must be new features. Would the gain be worth the cost? Ultimately only you can answer that.

I watched the Adobe keynote yesterday and they had a couple of good pages up highlighting the new PSCC features, but darn if I can find them at the moment. However, here are a couple of DPReview pages discussing the new software and those pages have further links to Adobe information that might be of help to you:

It doesn't look as if much was added for photographers.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

If you install Photoshop CC (2014), it's a separate install from CC so any plugins will need to be put in again. The easiest way to do that is to go to C>program files>Adobe>Adobe Photoshop CC (64 bit)>Plug-ins. Select all the plugins found in the Plug-ins folder and copy. Then go to C>program files>Adobe>Adobe Photoshop CC 2014>plug-ins and paste the plugins in that folder.

I made the move and figured out the plugin problem. Thanks!

The first observation I have with PS CC (2014) is it seems twice as fast as PS CS6.
So that alone made it a worth while move.

I'm using a iMac 27 2013 i7.
