Hi everyone,
Just in the past few days I am noticing it is very difficult to change lenses. I've had my 5D mark II for just over one year and used it with no problem with 50L, 100L and Sigma 15mm fisheye lenses. About 2 weeks ago I bought a 6D (WOOHOO!) and everything was great. Last week I took the 6D + rented 16-35L II f2.8 for one week on a family vacation, went to Hearst Castle, etc. Awesome combination for Hearst Castle by the way!! The rented lens felt a bit snug but was not worries and so I used & returned it with no problem. Anyhow, now that I have been back home I find it feels really tight putting a lens on and off both bodies using my Canon lenses. Sigma fisheye goes on and off totally smoothly as before. The 50L and 100L feel so tight I can barely get them on and off either of the bodies. But once I get the lens on, both bodies and both lenses function totally fine. What should I do? Just use it as is or should I send them all in to Canon? The only thing I feel suspect is I dropped the 5DII + 50L during a shoot but I was kneeling so it was only like 1 foot drop onto carpet. That was before the vacation plus I didn't take those with me. 6D + 16-35 was never dropped or bumped as it was mostly hanging off my neck the whole vacation. I looked carefully at the bodies & lenses and everything looks OK but then again I don't know what I am looking for. Appreciate any insight as to what to do & what not to do!
Thanks!
-Sue
