If you are talking the old 28-200...save your money. Terrible.
Or are you thinking of the new 28-300 which is just hitting the stores ?

Looks like I'll pass on the new 16-300, hoping the 28-300 is different/better that what appears to be the 16-300 version.
I know they have the capibility, I have an older Tamron 28-250 that's really nice sharpness wise. It's just that it's been around a while...and...
