I see you are using a 1DX. How is it over your 1D4, as in distance(do you miss the crop factor ?). PQ quality and the focusing. Im thinking about getting one ?.

Thanks Alan. I can't say enough good about the 1D-X. It's head and shoulders above the 1D4, and I don't miss the crop factor one iota. Mind you, for the type of shooting I do, I almost always have the 2x III extender attached. IQ is superb, and you can crop very strongly and still have a top quality image. I still have the 1D4 as a backup, but it sees little use.
