I am wondering how I format my files down to under 100kb so I can attatch them and post them in this forum. I heard you can do this with Photoshop but I don't have it. Is there any other way to do it?

20D, 17-85 kit lens, 70-200 F4, 50 1.4, Amvona AT CF 994 Tripod, Manrotto Monopod that I have never used and a 580EX Flash

Use
1. smaller filesize (less pixels X*Y)
2. more JPEG compression
3. images that compress better with JPEG:
-image is sharpened less
-image has less random noise
4. Images that do not have EXIF attached (full exif/XMP could add 40KB to file data and compression can not touch that)

Assuming your using XP, here's what I've been using for some time now. It also gives you some other neat little tools, even a RAW thumbnailer and viewer

When you right-click an image there will be a new resize your image option available.

Hope this helps you out.

Christian.
