How would my 6D compare to the new ELPH 150 IS?

The gap between a 6D and an ELPH brings to mind your username. Also, I agree with the EOS M... fantastic camera, already familiar with it, very good value. It literally is a live-view only T4i. Image quality is amazing for the size and AF is by far good enough (except for sports). The EF-M 18-55 speeds up AF a decent amount from the EF-M 22 f/2. <---- that's all I have and I'm very happy with. Used a friend's 18-55 and was immediately surprised by the AF speed. Just not a fast enough aperture lens for me.

That's the thing though. The M won't fit in a pocket. Well, you might squeeze it in with the 22mm, but it would be pretty uncomfortable. I hate mine. I'd much much rather use my Panny LX7. It's got a fast & sharp 24-90 equivalent Leica lens built in. And an aperture ring. All cameras and lenses should have aperture rings. It's actually enjoyable to shoot with. More to a camera than a sensor. In my opinion :)

Indeed, originally I didn't know the first thing about P&S cameras honestly other than there are thousands.
While the specs seemed good on the ELPH 150 IS, it totally lacks control the was the Sxxx line does.
I will research the Panasonic more. The Eos-M is a no go for my needs. I have tried my friend's M here.
