gchmblee Member 186 posts Joined Oct 2011 More info | well ive been reading this thread for a while, about 5 or 6 pages per night for a long time. after finally getting to the last page, i went and bought the lens. my concern is will it be worth a crap on a T1i body. my next upgrade is a 60D but that could be a few months away. ive been using a 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS lens and was just really unhappy with how much it sucked at 100% crop and it never seemed to focus worth a damn. im really hoping i can get shots like you guys are getting. i just got the bug a few years ago for taking pics and have slowly learned about f stops, aperture and shutter speeds. i mostly shoot in aperture priority and shutter priority. this site appears to be very useful and i should have some shots for you guys to critique for me and get me on my path to better picture taking. its been a pleasure reading this thread! www.gregchamblee.com

Goodness I did not know and you were the first to point this out. I also see an L with the lens. What does that indicate? Is there a forum where I should be? So sorry if I offended anyone. I'm 75. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it. Rebel XTi & 7D
