Just traded my 70-200/2.8IS II for the version 1....Umm, I'm really happy with the version 1 and don't think I'll be missing the mkII....Although, the mkII is a little sharper and the IS is much nicer...I've always loved the version 1 and the bokeh seems a little smoother than the mkII...

Wide open on my 5DmkII, apple blossoms in my back yard.

Thank you. I debated about leaving the truck in the image. I'm 76 and mostly remember the absolute horse and buggy days. I am told that the present young generation will own motor vehicles and in fact have parents that will buy them but not own or drive them. I still see the young folk courting with the horse and buggy. I see the same arrive at the Farmer's Market in very nice trucks to transport their wares.
