Wow, you carrying a gun or something? That's a serious steal if it's any kind of decent shape. :cool:

I just traded in a 70-300L today for a pristine copy of this lens. Some univ prof bought a 1D and some L lenses for a project and then barely used them. I wish I had the box, but otherwise the lens looks like it was never mounted and it certainly was taken care of. Now to get out and shoot with it.

I think it's a great lens that gets a bad rap for being 'soft' because of the excellent v2. My copy is quite sharp at 2.8, suits me well. I'll post some pics here in a bit.
