I'd like to know how I can permanently configure the post "quote" function to show images as links only while still leaving the "Show Images" in my profile turned on for normal viewing.
I don't see any user settings that allow this to happen. I'm using Firefox, if that makes any difference.
Up until today I've been seeing full images in all of my quotes. After playing with the "Show Images" setting (turning it on and after seeing what it does turning it off again) when I "quote" a post that has an image, I see only a link in the quote text. That's what I would like to have all the time - for a couple of reasons.
