Congrats! I have a request: Since you also own a Nikon 14-24, the a7R should be the perfect platform for comparing it to the 16-35mm f/4L IS. My wish/hope is that the 16-35 f/4 will have comparable (dare I wish for better?) performance to the 14-24mm at landscape apertures. Anyway, I hope you'll have a look at both and let us know what you think. :)

I don't have a 17-40 for comparison.
24-105 is a bit smaller but has a larger lens hood so they are basically the same.
