Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM

Tomorrow I will be trading my 17-40L for the 16-35. The photos in this thread are amazing!!! Can't wait to get my hands on this lens. Can anyone recommend a lens that will provide similar results for my backup cropped sensor 80D?

Why not use it on both ? For many years the 17-55/2.8 was the go-to on my 7D.............. If you want an ultra wide then Samyang have MF prime options. For AF then Canon 10-22/Sigma 10-20/Tokina 11-18. For the above a prime could have been tricky as the river prevents foot zooming.

This is Sturminster Newton Mill on the river Stour. I actually took this lens out of its pouch yesterday for the first time in 6 months.

I would recommend the Canon 10-18 over the 10-22. From what I have read, the 10-18 is just as good, but is a lot cheaper. Yes it has STM instead of USM autofocus, but this thing focuses very quickly and quietly. I've been using it for real estate for the past few months, but want to have a wide angle to work with my full frame bodies, so I just placed an order for the 16-35 today .

EOS M and M5 - 11-22 f4-5.6 IS, 22 f2

10-18 would be going backwards. Next step you need is go to full frame.
