If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

The centre of our Milky Way Galaxy, stretching through to the Southern Cross.

A combination of 10x90 sec exposures stacked together.

The Scuola Grande di San Rocco in Venice. What a spectacular place with an amazing Tintoretto collection. And the mosaic floor inlays are fantastic!

Seems like the ultimate travel lens! Nice starburst on that street light. I think this will be my next purchase.

Yeah, I just purchased it from another POTN member a few weeks before my trip. If you are going to Europe, I can guarantee it won't come off your camera. Amazing lens. The corner to corner sharpness is fantastic.

Awesome Colosseum photo. I love this lens for travel. The photos look almost HDR straight out of the camera.

Hi Sandra.. sure! Please see the google map below for the location. It is a small pedestrian bridge across from the top level of the Colosseo Metro stop to the street on the upper right side. You can't miss it if you take the stairs from the metro stop all the way to the top. I have circled the bridge itself in red, and the blue arrow indicates the direction of the view. Hope that helps! PM me if you need more info on Rome. The AirBnB we rented is marked as Apartmento Roma on the right end of the bridge, so as you can see, we had an awesome location to stay in! :)

And yes, it was a multi-second exposure on a tripod.

The Duomo (Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore), Firenze

It is impossible to fit this amazing monster of a building into a 16mm FOV. This was the best I could do.
