Was scouting locations in Yosemite to camp later this week and decided to check out Porcupine Flat. Drove around and on the way out found a massive black bear in front of me.
I captured a few images, and then it began to walk to a lower part of the campground. I drove around to hopefully get some more angles, but unfortunately it never came down, so I drove back around.
This is where I found it going through someones campground who failed to store things away properly. Soap, some sort of candle (I assume scented), along with an open wine bottle and other various things that shouldn't have been out.
I was able to capture a few before the bear decided it was time to eat, in which I then yelled and clapped at it. Not so much to save the people's camp, but because I didn't want the bear to get sick over eating things it shouldn't.
I made sure to leave a note saying, "A bear was eating your stuff, email for photos."
