Beetle ID Help Please

Not sure if these (2 separate individuals) are garden chafers or Hoplia philanthus or something else, any help appreciated.

Great shots. Yup chafer of some sort. Not a garden one though I think, they have a metallic green look to the head, though there can always be variability with these things.

They look more like Hoplia philanthus but they're supposed to be rarer and not really around the area I was in (Brandon marsh, Coventry). There were a fair few of them around as well so that's why I thought they must be something more common
