Nice action shots!
We don't need a permit to see them in Ontario, but let me still express a little envy.
We have a local pair in our city. Volunteers do a fledge-watch a couple of critical weeks, and that was a nice experience in the last two years. This year, all was fine until a week ago, 3 of the 4 youngsters, growing up on the roof of a 20-floor building, hit the building shortly after fledging and didn't survive. It's hard not to feel envious for the safe natural environment your falcons have access to.
They're truly fun birds to watch. I wish your little ones grow up fast and strong.
Thanks for sharing the photos.
Debbie

Yeah, there are a few urban pairs as well around here, couple in downtown SF, one that has the fledge watchers, and webcams set up...i choose not to watch those because there are enough people watching them...there are different dangers in the natural spots as well...of the 5 sites that i watch, only 2 had young that reached the age of fledging...one spot i went to had 3 chicks that were 2 weeks old, i went back 2 weeks later, and there was nothing...no clue what happened there...another one abandoned their eggs and disappeared, and the last site that i watch had one of the adults dye off/killed? in the off season, so there was just one adult, and one first year bird there.

Many thanks for that insight, on why some peregrines picked the high rises. Debbie

Lovely set of shots. Does the adult bird have leg bands on?

Thanks, no bands on the adults...I actually don't think I've ever seen an adult with the VID band, the black one, which is done so people with binoculars can identify/report them...I always hope to see one of the young as an adult
