We've been online watchers for a few years now. Definitely was a stressful weekend for followers, given the falcon juvie falling from his nest as well.

Bob and his team are AMAZING, I enjoy all of his projects and the level of commitment everyone has for all of the raptors. You are very fortunate to get to be a part of such a great team.

Wow I guess it's been a rough year for the newcomers. I follow the Cornell RTHs with my kids and one of the fledgelings was perched on a greenhouse when the window/vent closed and trapped its wing. It too suffered a humerus fracture as well as a soft tissue injury. I believe one of the a Fort Myers eagles also passed away this season. And the Texas barn Owls had two cases of siblicide in the nest. Sadly this is nature. One of the only downsides of following nests is the reality of the wild.

We live on other side of Iowa and have watched this nest for several years. Last year we were lucky enuf to be there in Decorah when they fledged. The nest location made it perfect for good shots all day long and the eagles were amazing. Thanks for your work at the RRP. Seems like the eaglets really need the help this year.

Been a rough year, one juvie is at SOAR in rehab with a broken wing,The last lone one is having problems flying and landing..Its not been fun here as in past years.Makes me wonder how all of the Eagles have done in the Midwest with the extreme cold winter we had.

So, so sad to read the news from Bob and team this week. Wasn't it last year that we lost two juvies to electrocution? Or it was the year before...
