I think so. He was sitting normally and I was waiting for like 2 hours for him to do something, then he pulled this pose for about 15 minutes ;) .

Great pose! That is very cool, not something I have ever seen but once. It was an Osprey, so I thought it was drying off.

Definitely, Bret...he was enjoying the late afternoon rays. It was a warmish but not hot day....maybe 72 degrees.

You have amazing patience Ian, but then again, it shows in your photos. He really does look like the emblem on the Thunderbird car! Great shot.
