Who has the best price on eneloops?

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?
Digital - 50D, 20D IR Conv, 9 Lenses from 8mm to 300mm
Analog - Mamiya RB67 Pro-SD, Canon A-1, Nikon F4S, YashicaMat 124G, Rollei 35S, QL17 GIII, Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex 1st Version, and and entire room full of lenses and other stuff

This isn't a guaranteed thing, but it's best to stock up when the white-top duraloops go on sale at Target stores. They seem to get clearanced out every year or two. The white-top duracell rechargeables are actually just repackaged eneloops from Japan. The black-top duracells are crappier variants from China. When clearanced, I can get a 4-pack of them for around $3.50, dependent on location. I'm currently sitting on a pile of maybe 60-80 unopened duraloops. I give them out to friends and family.

The last big sale at Target was late last year. And when they get clearanced out, it's mostly national, not regional (the vast majority of YMMV target clearance deals are the latter).

Amazon Basics get great reviews too, and many believe the white labeled ones are eneloops like the white topped duracells.

The high capacity ones are rated like the high end eneloops, but a bit cheaper.

6 month bender? Bouts of amnesia from football concussions?

I don't think aliens would appreciate you bringing up your pee and poo can onto the ship, so I would rule that out.

Why do you think aliens are always doing anal probes? They're after stool samples! I'm saving them a step! :p

bw!

But then they have to verify the samples are yours, and not from other people, and could just add to the testing time. Plus it could get really messy when you pass out and the contents go everywhere, it's probably just cleaner and quicker to allow the probing. ???

Wife tried the Amazon labeled batteries, and we've not been too happy with them. Maybe we got a bad batch, but most of our devices don't recognize the actual charge, always shows 1 bar when it's full charged. Just a weird thing.

Love eneloops, and thanks MOkoFOko - I knew there was another label/name version out there, just couldn't remember it.

They have 3 different types, an old discontinued generation of them, then a revised generation, and also now the extended 2500+ Mah shorter life ones. Was the set you tried the first gen?

Sadly, the duraloop prices aren't much of a savings. I believe a 4-pack goes for $12 at regular prices. You really have to wait for a clearance sale. The easiest way to find out about a closeout is to setup a dealalert on slickdeals for "target duraloop" (or something more specific) and wait for an email notice. It could be a long wait. The last time, I spent about $150 clearing out the stock of an entire store.

If you need something now, there's frequently some coupon deals where you can get some rather cheap eneloop packs at either cvs or rite-aid (forgot which one). Costco has the best regular prices--assuming your local store has them in stock.

I was able to get the 8x AA, 4x AAA & charger for $31 on Amazon, which was good enough.

I cleared out my local Ritz Camera when they were going out of business. I got the 10 pk glitters for $10 each. Between the 2 stores, I only got 4 packs though. The newest purchase is for the household stuff (no, I don't share my photo-targeted batteries with my wife and kids, they lose them). :)
