Video with 6d

I do real estate photography and I've been doing videos using a separate video recorder. I've got a 6d now and would like to use that for my RE videos, however, I have little/no experience with video on a DSLR. I've got some questions:

-Looks like no AF on video. I'm guessing--for RE video--I just set the aperture at like f11 and keep it there to keep everything in focus after manually focusing to start?
-How do you do AE for video? Just set it to one of the auto modes (rather than manual)?
-What steadycam-like devices are you all using with your 6d?
