sorry if this is the wrong area for my question. i have taken some pictures at a kick boxing tournement last month. in some of the better pics i took you can see droplets of blood mingled with sweat flying through the air (not everyones thing) what i was wondering is could i change this photo to black and white and highlight the blood in a deep red and if so how? i'm pretty new to this so please forgive me if this seems like a stupid question

You will need some sort of post processing software and what you want to do is called selective color.

gimp is free and here is a link to the process itself
