A few of us were watching this group of adult and young Canada geese moving towards a tidal flow. The adults seemed to have misjudged the flow and briefly tried to turn back but the tide was too strong. I didn't start getting pictures until they turned back into the flow and rode out the 100 or so feet of rapid moving water. Luckily all the goslings made it but the adults were making some noise.
Note the guy across the flow who was videoing with his phone. He had to cross this, it was mid thigh deep on him.
