First group of shots were taken in a canola field. She really wanted to take pics in the field so we drove to the middle of nowhere and stomped around taking pics.

Pics look good. Fill flash is a bit strong... but composition is good... editing is clean.

I would have reversed your timeline though. Its easier to shoot around buildings and trees during mid-day, and then the park with the blue/white dress, and finish up with that field of yellow flowers. I like the blue skies, but the on-camera fill flash makes it look flat. Almost like a green screen.

I'm the opposite of what Trent mentioned. I love the look of the 1st and 2nd pictures. And yes, it does look unreal to the point where I had to stop for a second and figure out what you did to exposure these two. Nicely done. The pick-up truck shot could have used some fill flash as well as the 6th shot. All great photos. Thanks for sharing.

Just to clarify, the canola field photos were taken on a different day than the building/pickup truck photos.

I had an off camera flash for the canola field shoot but even with weights, the wind was too gusty and strong and kept blowing the flash down. So I attached the flash onto my camera and used a diffuser instead.

Guess I could have dialed it back a little.

And there is fill flash in the truck and photo where he's picking her up (#6). Same deal, had to use a flash on my camera cause the winds were a little too windy.

I know the truck photo's a little weak, but I thought in #6 I balanced out the sunset and lighting them up. Suppose I could increase the exposure in post a little but more.

They look like a nice couple :)

My main feedback is to keep an eye on the horizon - try to avoid having it cut through their heads / necks. Either put it low to make them look tall with their heads (and bodies) in the sky or crop it out completely (like the sitting shot) so it looks like the yellow field goes on forever :)

I'm sure the farmer loved having you traipse around the field.
