I've been to a couple Meetup group shoots before, but this was the first shoot I put together by myself. The team was great to work with, and I think I got a few pretty nice shots out of it. Comments and helpful critique are welcomed.

i would add an ever so subtle touch of skin smoothing on her face. Great job!

Love #1 and #4, the head crop on #2 & #3 is not my personal liking. But still nice pose & lighting

I'm not big on the look that smoothing tends to give (at least with my few attempts at it), so I didn't want to mess these up.

The hair crop was necessary because the hair stylist ended up putting it up a bit higher than I anticipated, and I didn't realize what a big impact it had on the photos until I was done with the shoot.

Thanks for the comments.

All I see with 2 and 3 is the top part of hair is cropped, I've seen this many times and I guess it would depend on the photo as too it being a good crop to some while not others.

I think on the second one it works ok because she is looking down. Nice shots by the way!

But hey, aren't rules made to be broken :-)
