It isn't that I don't know how to use ETTL, (although some of the links were helpful) but just that I find more often that not that I can get the look I want and more consistently in manual than in ETTL. That being said, I do believe I am going to keep my 430exII and try to save up for the lens. I think it will be a while before I need a second flash for the things I shoot. Photography is just a hobby for me.
