Hi gang,

I wasn't able to find this information out, but what's the slowest SD card (hence cheapest) that you can buy which still maxes out the camera's 133x SD interface? Obviously buying anything fast would be wasted and money better spent on the CF.

More so looking at cards available from the Lexar and Sandisk line. So far I think Ultra doesn't reach 133x write and then the next step up is Extreme which jumps up to 45/80 mb/s, but what about Platinum II 200x?

Thanks!

Select "CF/SD/XQD" and then choose the 5D III

Yah, I saw that, but it didn't have cards like the Platinum II 200x unfortunately.

The write speed should be at least 20MB/s (the limit).

Those Lexar cards 16GB and higher capacity are (up to 30MB/s read, 22MB/s write)

I have SanDisk Extreme SDHC 30MB/s that should be (up to 30MB/s read/write)
